To export the current alignment matrix into a file

Save the active alignment as a matrix or IGES file for use in other inspections.

To export the active alignment:

1. Measure the alignment.
2. Click File tab > Export > Active Alignment.
3. Select the folder in which you want to save the exported file in the Save in list.
4. Enter a name for the exported file in the File name box.
5. Select the format in which you want to export the alignment in the Save as type list.
6. Click Save.
Tip: You can also export an alignment by right-clicking its entry in the Sequence Tree and selecting Export Alignment from the context menu. This option is unavailable when an alignment is unmeasured.
