To change the probe angles in an inspection document

If you are using an indexable probe head on a CNC machine, you can use the Probe Change Wizard to search Probe and Parameters items for a specified probe angle and supply a replacement.

Note: You cannot change probe angles if you are editing a document for use on OMV machines.

To replace a probe angle:

1. Click Probe Path tab > Tools panel > Probe Change Wizard. The Probe Change Wizard is displayed.
2. Select Change probe angles and click Next. The Wizard lists the probe angles currently used in the inspection sequence, and the available replacements.

   

3. Under Select the probe tool angles you want to replace, select the probe angle you want to change.
4. Under Select the probe tool angles you want to replace it with, select the new probing angle for the tool.
5. Click Next. The Wizard lists the sequence items that use the current probe angle.

   

6. Deselect any items you do not want to update, then click Next. The Wizard lists the changes made by the wizard.

   

7. Click Finish to close the wizard.
