Fitting arcs to curves

To fit arcs to curves:

1. Select one or more curves.
2. Click Curve Tools tab > Fit panel > Arcs to Curves.

   The curve is converted to a composite curve and the underlying geometry of the composite curve contains the fitted arcs.

   If any composite curves have failed to be arc fitted, an error message is displayed, listing all the names of the failed composite curves.

Note: Tol on the Status bar changes the tolerance. At low tolerances, a large number of arcs may fit a curve. To reduce the number of arcs, increase the tolerance.
