Specifies whether automated layer and color assignment are available when creating objects. When you check this box, the other controls become available.

Assigns a layer to the specified property.
- Assign color by

Assigns a color to the specified property. Select one of the two default properties, Status or Nominal Diameter, or create additional items for this list by setting up a new Selection List for the Pipe class.
- Color settings

Lists the current color setting. You can change them as desired.

Makes the selected scheme current.
- New

Opens the New Automation Scheme dialog box where you can set up a new scheme.

Use Same Layer as Piping - Places pipe supports on the same layer as connected piping with an optional prefix or suffix.
All Supports on one layer - Pipe supports are created on the layer specified in the Layer Name box.
Use current layer (Unmanaged) - Pipe supports are created on the current layer. This behavior is compatible with AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012 and earlier.
