Add Zone Equipment

Use the tools in the System Browser to add zone equipment.

The System Browser displays the hierarchy of the analytical systems and zone equipment.

To create zone equipment

1. Open a model and press F9 to display the System Browser.
2. Click Add Zone Equipment .
3. In the Properties palette, under Identity Data, enter a name for the zone equipment.
4. Under Energy Analysis, select the Equipment Type. Other properties are enabled as appropriate.

   The Behavior property is available for every Equipment Type.

   1. When you specify One per Space, an instance of the zone equipment will be assigned to each analytical space in the group.
   2. When you specify Groups Spaces on Equipment, one instance of the zone equipment will be assigned to the entire group.
The tree in the System Browser displays the hierarchy of the analytical systems and zone equipment. The water loops and air systems are shown at the top level with their associated water loops and zone equipment shown below.


If an element has not yet been fully defined, a warning icon displays in the System Browser.
