Infrastructure Family Parameters

When creating an infrastructure family parameter, specify the parameter type in the Parameter Properties dialog.

In the Family Editor, click Create tabProperties panel (Family Types). In the Family Types dialog, under Parameters, click Add. For Discipline, select Infrastructure. For Type of Parameter, select one of the following.

Name	Description
Stationing	Location values measured in specific increments along an alignment.
Stationing Interval	Specific distance between station points. Set the units for Stationing Interval in the Project Units dialog.
Stationing Interval	The distance between each station, measured along the length of the alignment.
Tag Offset	The gap between the alignment station tag and the alignment when the view is placed on a sheet (paper space).
Start Station	The first (lowest) displayed station when creating an alignment station set.
End Station	The location on the alignment beyond which no stations will be displayed when creating an alignment station set.
Alignment Station Set	Can be used to create multiple alignment stations along an alignment between specified start and end stations. Annotation tab > Alignment Station drop-down > Alignment Station Set > select alignment > set parameters in contextual ribbon.
Alignment Station	Can be used to create a single alignment station and place it at any location along an alignment. Annotation tab > Alignment Station. Note that stations can be customized (to display their elevation, coordinates, etc) via their type parameters.
Import Civil Structures	Can be used to import alignments and bridges that have been created in InfraWorks. Add-Ins > Import Civil Structures.
