Uncut Geometry in a Family

While working with families in the Family Editor, you can select which geometry does not get cut when you join geometry.

1. In the Family Editor, click Modify tabGeometry panelCut drop-down (Uncut Geometry).
2. Select a form.
3. Select the appropriate solid geometry that you do not want to cut. If you do not want to cut multiple elements, select Multiple Uncut from the options bar.
   Note: If you select all geometry to not be cut, then the form appears at all times in the view.
