Load a Tag or Symbol Style

Use the Loaded Tags and Symbols dialog to view the current list of associated tags and symbols assigned to family categories. You can load new annotation styles or change the existing symbols and tags.

1. Click Annotate tabTag panel drop-down Loaded Tags and Symbols.

   Depending on the project template, some element categories may have default tags and symbols loaded.

2. Click Load.

   You can load multiple annotation styles for element categories.

3. Navigate to the location of a tag or symbol family. You can select multiple files by holding either SHIFT or CTRL while selecting. The annotation name displays adjacent to the element category in either the Loaded Tags or Loaded Symbols columns.
4. When you are finished loading tags, click OK.

   The last loaded tag or symbol for an element category becomes the default annotation style for that element.
