Control the Size of the Rendered Image

Before rendering a 3D view, you can use these techniques to control its print size (in pixels) and file size (in bytes).

The width and height of the rendered image display on the Rendering dialog under Output.

Higher resolution and larger image size increase render time.

Note: When defining a custom render quality, the size of the rendered image is important. If either the height or width of the rendered image will exceed the limitation value, then you must select the "Render by Level" duration option. The limitation value is 4096 pixels if your memory storage is greater than 1GB, otherwise the limitation value is 2048 pixels. If you select "Render by time" or "Until Satisfactory," a warning displays. To resolve this issue, you can make adjustments to modify the size of the rendered image, or select "Render by Level" in the Render Quality Settings dialog.
