Revit DB Link allows you to export Revit model data to a database, where you can edit the data and import it back into the model.
There are two types of databases you can use with Revit DB Link:
When Access is installed as part of Office 365, Access Runtime is not installed by default. As a result, you may not be able to connect to Autodesk Revit DB Link. To install Access Runtime, go to the Microsoft Download Center and search for Access Runtime 2013 or 2016.
For help installing SQL Server Express, use the following link to go to the Microsoft Download Center and search for SQL Server Express: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-editions-express.
