Shape edited elements may contain many points. This may impact performance. Turn off preview of points on pre-highlight and selection of a shape edited element.
By default control points will be displayed on the following shape edited elements:
- Roof
- Floor
Control points will not be displayed on the following elements:
- Toposolid
Set the display of control points to your preference or turn off the display of points if you experience performance issues.
Turning the display of points off, you will lose the functionality of tab-selecting points/edges and making adjustments adjusting outside of the Editing Mode. When an element is selected and you enter into the Modify Sub-element mode, the points will be shown and will be editable. The option only controls the visibility of points during highlight and selection.
To change the display status of control points:
Note: When working with linked files, the display status of points must be modified in the linked files as well as the host file.
- Select the shape edited element in the drawing area.
- Click Modify|<Element> tab
