View and Access Recent Files

View or access your recent files. Home displays Revit models, stored locally or in the cloud, and families you opened most recently.

1. Access Revit Home when you start the software. Return to it at any time by clicking (Home) the Quick Access toolbar or pressing CTRL+D.
2. From the Revit Home window, click Recent Files in the left pane.
   Note: When you click a central file from the Recent Files page, Revit always creates a local copy of the central model to prevent unwanted edits to the central file. To access the central file, click FileOpen.
3. In the right pane, click a thumbnail image to open that model or family.
4. Click Learn to access online learning resources.
