Work on Part of the Project

The following is the typical sequence of tasks for each team member working on the project.

• Create a local copy of the project.

  Update your local copy of the central model every day to make sure you have the latest changes.

• Open worksets.

  Open the worksets with which you want to work.

• Borrow elements.

  If you need to modify elements that belong to other worksets, borrow the elements.

• Manage editing requests.

  Other team members may need to borrow elements in your worksets. Grant their requests and manage your own editing requests.

• Save your changes.

  Synchronize your changes with the central model, so that team members have access to your modifications to the project.
