Share views of your model online where collaborators without Revit can review and comment on your model using Autodesk Viewer.

Shared views allows you to share views of your model with project stakeholders who might not have Revit. You share the view online with people who can make comments and view the model. Those comments appear in the shared views panel in Revit where you can respond.
In this example you are working with a design nearing completion. You would like to send the model for review by the larger team. Open the 3D view you want to share. This example uses a 3D view, but any views of your model can be shared. On the Collaborate tab, click Shared views to open the shared views panel.
Click "New Shared View" to create a shared view from the open 3D view. In the dialog provide a name for the shared view and click share. You must be logged in to your Autodesk account to share a view. A message is displayed as the 3D view is extracted and shared online. You can continue to work in Revit as the view is created.
Once the view is ready, you are notified and the view is listed in the shared views panel. To share the view with someone on the team, copy the link from the notification or click the ellipses in the shared view panel in Revit. Share the link with the team members via e-mail or other method.
The link you share opens the Autodesk Viewer in a web browser where collaborators can view, markup, and comment on the model. When a markup or comment is created, the view currently in the browser is saved as part of the shared view.
In Revit, click reload in the Shared View panel to load any comments and markups. Click reply to provide a reply directly to the reviewer and click resolve when the issue is resolved. If you need to see the comment or markup in more detail, click the image and the model will open in the Autodesk viewer. Replies from Revit and issues marked as resolved will be saved back to the shared view.
Links to shared views will expire 30 days from when they are created. If you need to delete a shared view prior to expiration or if you need to extend the 30 days, in the shared view panel click the ellipses next to the view and select the correct option.
Use shared views to collaborate with project stakeholders who want to review work but do not have access to Revit or in cases where online commenting and markups will enhance your review workflows.
