Specify Rise Drop Symbols for a Piping System

Use the Project Browser to specify rise drop symbols used for a piping system.

1. In the Project Browser, expand Views (all)Floor Plans and double-click a view for the piping system.
2. In the Project Browser, expand FamiliesPiping SystemsPiping System.
3. Right-click a piping system, and click Type Properties.
4. In the Type Properties dialog, under Type Parameters, under Rise / Drop, specify the following default rise drop symbols used with the selected piping system:
   • Two Line Drop Symbol:Click the Value column then click to open the Select Symbol dialog where you can choose the symbol that will be used to indicate a drop in a model’s two-line drawings.
   • Two Line Rise Symbol: Click the Value column then click to open the a Select Symbol dialog where you can choose the symbol that will be used to indicate a rise in a model’s two-line drawings.
   • Single Line Drop Symbol: Click the Value column then click to open the Select Symbol dialog where you can choose the symbol used to indicate a drop in a model’s single-line drawings.
   • Single Line Rise Symbol: Clicking in the Value column opens a Select Symbol dialog where you can choose the symbol used to indicate a rise in a model’s single-line drawings.
   • Single Line Tee Up Symbol: Click the Value column then click to open the Select Symbol dialog where you can choose the symbol used to indicate a tee up in a model’s single-line drawings.
   • Single Line Tee Down Symbol: Click the Value column then click to open the Select Symbol dialog where you can choose the symbol used to indicate a tee down in a model’s single-line drawings.
5. Click OK.
