Reynolds Number | Displays the Reynolds Number for the selected duct. The Reynolds Number is used to help predict flow patterns in a duct. | |||
Flow State | Displays the flow state for the selected pipe. Flow through a duct or pipe can be classified as laminar, turbulent, or transitional (also called critical), depending on the Reynolds number. | |||
Velocity | Displays the velocity for the selected duct or pipe. The velocity of flow depends on the size of the duct or pipe and the flow rate. | |||
Velocity Pressure | Displays the difference between the total pressure and static pressure for the selected duct or pipe. Pressure loss is proportional to the velocity pressure in turbulent flows. | |||
Friction Factor | Displays the friction factor for the selected duct or pipe. The friction factor is calculated for a duct or pipe with turbulent flow. | |||
Friction | Displays the friction for the selected duct or pipe. The amount of pressure loss per length unit due to friction in a duct or pipe. | |||
Pressure Drop | Displays the pressure drop for the selected duct, pipe, fitting, or connector. To see the pressure drop for each path through the fitting, check the pressure loss report. This is a read-only parameter. | |||
Critical Path | Indicates whether the selected pipe is on the critical path of the network. This is a read-only parameter. | |||

Image | The image associated with this element instance. To change the image, click the value field and click the browse button to open the Manage Images dialog. | |||
Comments | Displays a comment that you enter or select from the drop-down list. Once entered, you can select a comment for other instances of elements in the same category, regardless of type or family. | |||
Mark | A user-defined element label. Use Mark values to tag elements and identify them in a schedule. | |||
Alias | Displays additional information about a fabrication part. Commonly used to display abbreviations, such as FD or VCD on equipment. | |||
Item Number | Displays the item number for a fabrication part. The item number is most commonly used as a way of identifying fittings either for manufacture or location purposes. | |||
Product Code | Displays the product code for a fabrication part. The product code uniquely identifies the items in the fabrication configuration. | |||
