You can modify images and PDF files using tools (such as Rotate and Copy) on the Modify Raster Images tab. This tab displays when you select an image or PDF file in the drawing area.
Revit manages imported images and PDF files in the same way as saved, rendered 3D images.
- Select the image or PDF file and modify it as follows:
- To scale the image or PDF file, drag the corner handles.
- To move the image or PDF file, drag it to the desired location.
- To keep width and height settings proportional while scaling, on the Properties palette, select Lock Proportions.
- On the Properties palette, specify values for the height, width, horizontal scale and vertical scale of the image or PDF file.
- To enable snapping to a PDF image, select the PDF file, then select Enable Snaps in the Properties palette or click the Enable Snaps button in the ribbon.
Note: The PDF file must be a vector based PDF in order to enable snapping.
- To rotate the image or PDF file, click Modify | Raster Images tabModify panel (Rotate).
- To change the draw order, select one or more images or PDF files and use the tools on the Arrange panel of the Modify | Raster Images tab.
The draw order of raster images and PDF files can be controlled in the same manner as detail elements.
