Toposolid: Excavation Volume Parameters

Use the individual volume and total excavation information to know the exact amount of soil to be removed from the toposolid modeling.

Examples:

  1. Floor is a cutter element. In the Properties Palette Floors Dimensions, the Excavation Volume on Toposolid parameter refers to the portion to be excavated from the Toposolid
  2. Mass is a cutter element. For the mass element, the Excavation Volume on Toposolid parameter shows the portion of soil that has been removed from the toposolid.
  3. When the toposolid is being cut by another element there are two parameters:
    • View the Individual Excavation Volume dialog. The dialog lists all elements cutting the Toposolid.
    • The Total Excavation Volume shows how much soil has been taken out of this Toposolid instance by all cutting elements.

You can also create schedules for those parameters:

For a toposolid being cut by another element: Toposolid Total Excavate Schedule that has the Total Excavation Volume parameter.

For an element that is cutting a toposolid: Excavate Multi-Category Schedule, and filter by the Excavation Volume.
