Place a point load in a specific point of the analytical element.
Place point load on an end point
In the Analyze tab Structural Analytical Model panel, click
(Loads).
In the Modify |
<load> contextual ribbon Loads panel, select
(Point Load) and from the Point Loads panel, select
(On End-Point).
Select the end of an analytical member or a corner of an analytical panel to place the load.
The load is placed by the selected reference.
Note: The box next to the Is constrained on host parameter is automatically checked in the Point Load properties palette. The load is constrained to the selected element's reference. You can remove the constraint of this load by unchecking the box.
Place point load by picking the position
In the Analyze tab Structural Analytical Model panel, click (Loads).
In the Modify |
<load> contextual ribbon Loads panel, select
(Point Load) and from the Point Loads panel, select
(Pick Position).
Select the host. Only supporter elements will be highlighted. A tooltip will indicate the supported element type.
Select the point on the analytical member or on the analytical panel to place the load.
The host will be highlighted during placement, while the pointer is within the limits of the selected host.
