You do not have sufficient available RAM or disk space to open the model and work on it.

Warning: The model cannot be opened due to insufficient RAM or disk space.

Issue: When opening a model in Revit, a certain amount of free RAM and disk space is need to open and work on the model. Verify you have enough storage to open and work on the model.

		Solution:

- Check the free space on the primary (C:\) hard disk.

- Make sure to have at least:

- Disk Space - It is recommended to have at least 3x the total Revit model size, including all host models and links, available in free disk space.

- RAM

- <File Size> x 20 = Amount of RAM needed to load the file.

- <Ram on your computer> / 20 = Maximum size of file you can load on your computer.
Example: 64GB you can open a file up to 3.2GB in size.

Note: The operating system and other applications running on the computer also use RAM, so it's important to have sufficient RAM for these as well.

Note: The size of the files linked to the model (RVT, DWG, IFC) should also be included in the estimation.

- Once you have cleared enough disk space, try and open the model again.
