Use the View List tool to ensure views of the model are set up and used consistently in the project, and to make sure the important views are included on sheets in the construction document set. View lists are like schedules in how they are created and manipulated.

To make a view list, on the View tab select Schedules and then select View List. In the View List Properties dialog, select the view properties you want to include in the list. Here the properties selected are used to check if views are placed on the correct sheets, as well as verifying settings for scale, detail level, and the applied scope box. Select the appropriate fields and add them to the View List.

To make it easier to see which views are on which sheet, you can sort the views by the sheet number. Click the Sorting/Grouping tab on the Properties palette and set the "sort by:" control to Sheet Number. To make the list easier to read, select the Blank line option to add a blank line between the set of values for each sheet in the list.

Now use controls in the view list to change the properties of the views.
