View a demo on how to use the timeline for animation in VRED.
For additional information on the timeline, see the following:
Video captions: Open the menu, Animation, and show the timeline. The timeline enables you to create and play animations. The time is set as frames by default. In the European T.V. system, PAL, a second consists of 25 frames. Right-click on the timeline to choose between frames, seconds, or to display both. To scroll through the timeline, use left-click and drag. Of course, you can also go to the frame directly. The slider enables you only to display a specific area of your timeline. Of course, you can also set this manually. Use the steering icons easily to play or stop an animation, go to the start or end, or switch to the next or previous keyframe. You can set a keyframe by using the key icon. In order to play single animation curves, you can start the isolate animation mode by using the appropriate icon. Open the Animation preferences to change default settings.
