Video captions: VRED offers various ways to navigate the 3D world. Click on Navigation in the Interaction menu. Here, you can deactivate mouse navigation.
The Trackball mode enables you to navigate freely around all axes. Use this mode when working with a three axis trackball mouse.
The TwoAxis mode enables you to navigate around 2 axes. The TwoAxis mode is the standard navigation mode when using a mouse.
You will always rotate around the center of your image when Auto Center is set. When not using Auto Center, you can choose which point you want to rotate around by using double left or double right-click.
The position of the camera is set in Orientation mode. Use this mode, for example, to simulate the driver's point of view in the vehicle interior.
Activate the mode, Fly, and go forward by clicking left, and more back by holding the right mouse button. You can set the sensitivity with Motion Factor. In Fly mode, you can steer by moving the mouse horizontally and vertically.
To edit the default values, open Preferences, under Edit. Choose Navigation. Select the default mode in the dropdown menu for Navigation Mode.
