Transform Objects

Video captions: The Shift button on your keyboard is the button you need to press to interact with objects in your viewport.

To receive feedback from your selection in the render view, activate the bounding box in your toolbar.

First, select the object you want to transform. To see the transform handles, click in the Transform icon. The default transform tool is the Translate tool. You can also switch this handle on and off by pressing Shift + W.

To move an object, press Shift + left-click on an axis and drag the mouse to the direction of your choice.

Select an object you wish to rotate. Press Shift + E to switch to rotation mode.

Again, press Shift + left-click on a handle and drag the mouse to rotate the object on the selected axis.

Select an object you wish to scale. Press Shift + R to switch to scale mode. Press Shift + left-click on the handle and drag the mouse to resize the object on the selected axis.

To scale the object with constant values on every axis, Shift + left-click on the yellow cube in the middle.
