Video captions: The geometry has been assigned to a switch material. For more information, you can view the tutorial, Switch Materials, in the Materials section. Open the Clipmaker, via the Quick Access bar. As you can see, an animation for the trunk lid has been created, which has been allocated as a clip. Call up the variant sets and create a new set, by calling up the menu with the help of the right mouse button. Rename it to Combined_Variants and open the Animation tab. Drag and drop the animation of the trunk lid from the Clipmaker into the Variant Sets. Next, assign a switch material to the Material tab of the Variant Sets module. Change the State to Next Loop, so the materials, which have been set in the switch material are call upon in sequence. Select the variant set by double-clicking it. You can see the animation and material changes are happening at the same time. Assign, under the General tab, a hotkey for the activation of the variant set. For the hotkey, choose number 1. Activate the render view and hit the 1 key to start the variant set in the window. To control the variant set by selecting geometry, please open the Touch Sensor, via Interaction the main menu bar. Select a random piece of geometry from your scene and drag and drop it into the Touch Sensor module. Subordinate the created variant set, via drag and drop, to the geometry in the Touch Sensor module. By selecting the geometry in the render view, the created variant set will be played.
