Viewpoint Variants

View a demo on viewpoint variants in VRED.

Video captions: You can create multiple viewpoints by selecting the active camera or by right-clicking in the Camera Editor window to call up the sub menu. Under Create, select Viewpoint. Repeat this process, creating a perspective view, a rear view, and a side view of the object. Rename the viewpoints accordingly. Open the Variant Sets module, via the Quick Access bar, and select the View tab. Create a new variant set by prompting the Variant Set menu with the right mouse button and selecting New Set. Rename the variant set to Back and drag and drop the corresponding viewpoint into the module. Open the General tab and set a hotkey, under Hotkey. Select the number 1 for the first viewpoint. Repeat this process for the remaining 2 viewpoints and rename them to Perspective and Side. For both, assign as hotkeys, respectively, the number 2 and 3. Activate the render view and access the created viewpoint, via the hotkeys number 1,2, and 3.
