Redirect the Vault File Store

You can redirect a vault to a new file store location. Different from moving the file store, shifting the file store location allows the administrator to prepare a new place for the file store while the existing file store is in use. Once the new location is ready, redirect the vault to the new location without moving files during the operation.

Redirect the Vault File Store

1. Select a vault from the Vaults folder.
2. Select Actions > Redirect File Store.
3. In the Redirect File Store dialog, browse to a new location for the file store.
4. By default, all the files recorded in the database are validated against the files in the file store. Turn on the "No file store validation" check box if you do not want to perform file store validation.
5. You are prompted to confirm locking the vault to prevent users from accessing it during the operation. Click Yes.
6. Click OK.
