Edit Security for a Custom Object

Change the security on a custom object.

Edit Custom Object Definition Security

1. In the Autodesk Vault Client, click Tools >Administration >Vault Settings.
2. In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Custom Objects tab and click Configure.
3. Choose an existing custom object definition.
4. Click Edit.
5. In the Security area, click the Configure... button.
6. Use the Add button to add existing users and groups to the list. Once the user or group is added to the list, select the user or group and modify the permission if needed.
7. Users and groups can be removed from the access control list by clicking Remove.

Security changes are applied immediately to all instances of the custom object definition.
