Command Line Server Console

Run the server console as a command line utility to back up, restore, and migrate vaults and Content Center libraries.

Run the server console from the command line:

  1. Start a command prompt.
  2. Change directories to the install directory for the server console. By default, this path is C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Server <year>\ADMS Console.
  3. At the command line, enter: Connectivity.ADMSConsole.exe followed by the command line options, and then press Enter.
Note: The Vault password switch requires Vault administrator account password. If the password policy is enforced and your current password doesn't meet the requirements, you will receive a prompt to change your Vault account password. Login via Thick Client or contact your administrator to change the Vault account password.
