Add a Workgroup
Before adding a subscribing Workgroup, a supported version of Microsoft SQL Server must be installed on the Subscribing server.
Note: Do not install Vault server on the subscribing server.
- Install Microsoft SQL.
- Select the vault instance. You can choose between either the default AUTODESKVAULT instance, or your own vault.
- Launch the Vault server console from the publishing server.
- Right-click the workgroups node and select Add Workgroup.
- In the Add Workgroup dialog enter the required information.
- Click OK.
- Workgroup Name - The name of the new workgroup.
- Workgroup Label - The unique name for the new workgroup. This name will be tied to all schemes created for this workgroup.
- Subscriber Server Name - The name of the server with SQL installed for the new workgroup.
- Remote SQL Credentials - The login credentials for the new SQL server being used for the new workgroup.
- Remote Replication Credentials - The credentials set up for replication when defined when configuring the publishing server.
