Edit Properties on a Single Data Card

Edit file properties for a single data card as a quick way to update file meta-data.

1. Go to the data card for which you want to change a property value.

2. Click the Edit button to enter edit mode.

   Properties that cannot be edited are disabled.

3. Locate the property you want to change.

   Use the tabs at the bottom of the values grid to navigate through all available properties.

4. Enter a new value in the property field.

   OR

   Right-click on the field and select Revert from the context menu to undo any previous changes. Revert undoes changes made only since the file was checked out.

5. Click Apply to commit the changes.

   An asterisk (*) appears beside the name of the data card to indicate that it has been modified. However, the changes are not permanent until the file associated with the data card is checked in.

   OR

   Click to dismiss all changes made during this editing session and return to read-only mode.
