You can customize the view in the application window.
By making efficient use of properties and customizing your view, data management becomes much more tailored to your project.
Distributed Views
The Distributed View is the custom view created and controlled by the Administrator or Configuration Administrator tailored to your project. This is the initial view set when you access the system. You can customize the default configuration to optimize your view and improve efficiency.
An administrator can create a custom view and save it as a distributed view. The administrator can then deploy the custom view settings to the Vault Client, allowing users to use it for their regular activities.
As a user, you can use the distributed view created by the administrator, modify the distributed view as per your requirement, or use a different custom view. If there are any changes to the distributed view, you will receive an update notification. You can accept or reject the changes to the distributed views in the workspaces. If rejected, the changes will not impact any local edits you have made to the distributed views.
Click the main pane, and then click View > Customize View.
In the Customize View dialog box, select one of the following:
Click Save as Distributed View to save the current view settings as the distributed view. This option is only available for Administrator and Configuration Administrator.
