Inventor Design Data and Template Management

In this release, we have added the ability to map Vault folders to Inventor design data and templates and use them in the Inventor Vault add-in. This will help to manage different versions of the design data and templates that are modified by the administrator or CAD manager.

As an administrator, you can:

• Manage templates and design data files in Vault.
• Map Inventor templates and design data to Vault project file.

As a user, you can:

• Download the mapped templates and design data files.
• Get the latest templates and design data files.

Removed Inventor View from the Viewer Options

The "Inventor View" option to view the Inventor files has been removed from the Vault settings options. The "Inventor Read-only Mode" is now the default setting to preview the Inventor files.

Inventor Read-only Mode for Viewing Files

The "Inventor Read-only Mode" is now the default setting for viewing the Inventor files.

You can view the Inventor files for read-only purposes. You can't edit or update the files using Vault commands in the Inventor read-only mode. The Vault administrator can provide read-only access to the users who need just to view the Inventor files.
