Creating alternative demand

You can create a new, blank Alternative Demand at any time.

To create new Alternative Demand data:

1. In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click a model group.
2. Select New | Alternative Demand from the pop-up menu.
3. The New Object Naming dialog is displayed. Type a name for the Alternative Demand and click OK.

The new Alternative Demand will be checked out when created. Alternative Demand can be edited by Associating Alternative Demand with a Network and then editing alternative demand information for objects in the network. Alternatively, Alternative Demand data can be edited independently of the network in the Alternative Demand Grid. When you have finished making changes, you should check the Alternative Demand in. It is not checked in when you check in the associated network.
