Offsetting Plots

Plots and plot segments can be offset using the standard AutoCAD Offset command. To offset an entire plot, select the area label when asked to pick objects. To offset just one segment of a plot, select the segment element when asked to pick objects. You can also offset your site plot to see its extents and the objects it contains.

To offset a site plot

1. At the command line, enter offset.
2. Enter a small distance (for example, 2 feet).
3. Choose the Site Plot Area Label as the object to offset.

   The outline of the site plot is displayed.
