When you edit an alignment in Autodesk Civil 3D, the Highway Boundary plots are not automatically adjusted. This means that the Highway Boundary plots are incorrect after the change, and all other adjacent plots are outdated as well. There is a quick way to adjust these plots.
To update Highway Boundary plots
- Once the alignment has been edited, offset it to each side to generate a construction line representing where the Highway Boundary lines should be.
- Grip edit the Highway Boundary plot segments using OSNAPs to match precisely the new vertices of the construction line.
- Edit any curve segment parameters using the sub-element editor tools, which are accessed on the Plot Layout Tools toolbar.
