Highway boundary plots can be automatically generated for plots located along alignments. Remember the following when creating Highway Boundary plots:
- One Highway Boundary plot is created for each selected plot adjacent to the alignment. For example, if you choose two plots during Highway Boundary creation, one on each side of an alignment, two separate Highway Boundary plots are created, not one complete plot. These plots can be combined using the Plot Union tool on the Plot Layout Tools toolbar.
- You do not have to choose plots on both sides of the alignment to generate Highway Boundary plots. However, if you only pick a plot on one side, only the Highway Boundary plot on that side of the alignment will be created.
- If you select a plot that is adjacent to more than one alignment, the offset value set in the dialog box will be used on all adjacent alignments.
- The alignment must be in the site for Highway Boundary plots to be generated.
