To Install the Autodesk Material Library

Starting with AutoCAD 2024-based products, the Autodesk Base Resolution Materials Image Library is installed by default and can no longer be uninstalled separately.

Note: If the Autodesk Base Resolution Materials Image Library is missing from your installation, reinstall AutoCAD or copy the files from the Autodesk Shared folder on a different workstation to the same location on your workstation.

For renderings that require higher resolution materials, you can download and install the Autodesk Medium Resolution Materials Image Library. For information on installing the Autodesk Medium Resolution Materials Image Library, visit https://www.autodesk.com/adsk_medium_resolution_materials_library.
