You can use duct preferences to set defaults for templates.
You can configure Duct Routing Preferences and system definitions to control the construction, display, and annotation of duct systems. Duct Routing Preferences are applied to all new duct runs. When adding a duct run, you specify a system definition which include justification, rise/run routing, cut length and default label preferences. You can also apply insulation and lining to duct objects, specify the display of vanes, flanges, and flex duct graphics.
