To Change the Plane Indicator in a Feature Control Frame Symbol (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the drawing area, double-click the symbol to edit.
2. In the Feature Control Frame dialog box, click Symbol tab.
3. Under Requirements, for Frame Properties, click Indicator Type ().
4. In the dropdown list, choose one of the following indicator types:
   • Intersection plane indicator
   • Orientation plane indicator
   • Collection plane indicator
   • Direction feature indicator
5. Click OK.

Note:

• In the Feature Control Frame Settings dialog box, select the Enable Plane and Feature Indicator option to activate the Indicator Type field. By default, it is selected and active.
• The Indicator Type and Indicator Geometric Symbol fields are active only when there is a value in the Indicator Datum field.
