A feature line is a connected series of points along a corridor created by joining those points from each assembly that share a particular code. Feature lines are used to build the 3D model of a corridor.

(Inherited from Entity) | |
| IsReferenceObject |
Gets whether the Entity is a reference object. A reference object is
located in another drawing, and linked using a data shortcut or Vault.
If the entity is native to the current drawing this property returns false;
if it is being referenced via data shortcuts or AutoCAD Vault it returns true.

For reference objects (IsReferenceObject == true), gets whether the Entity is a reference subobject.
For example, when iterating through the structure of a pipe network referenced from another drawing,
this property is true for each entity.
(Inherited from Entity) | |
| IsReferenceValid |
For reference objects (IsReferenceObject == true), gets whether the Entity object's reference is valid.

| StyleId |
sets the FeatureLine's style Id.
(Overrides EntityStyleId) | |
| StyleName |
Gets or sets the Featureline's style name.
(Overrides EntityStyleName) |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
| AssignElevationsFromSurface | Assigns elevations from surface. | |
| ComputeFingerPrint |
Compute FingerPrint of the Entity.
(Inherited from Entity) | |
| Create(String, ObjectId) | Creates a FeatureLine from the specified Line, Arc, Polyline, Polyline2d or Polyline3d. | |
| Create(String, ObjectId, ObjectId) | Creates a FeatureLine from the specified Line, Arc, Polyline, Polyline2d or Polyline3d. | |
| DeleteElevationPoint | Deletes an elevation point along the FeatureLine. | |
| DeleteElevationPoints | Deletes elevation points along the FeatureLine. | |
| DeletePIPoint | Deletes a PI point along the FeatureLine. | |
| ExtendWithFixedCurve(Boolean, Point3d) | Extends the feature line with a curved arc segment to the specified target point. This method adds a new fixed arc segment to either the beginning or end of the feature line, creating a smooth curve from the current start/end point to the specified target point. The arc is automatically calculated based on the current tangent direction and target point. The method determines the optimal arc geometry to create a smooth transition. | |
| ExtendWithFixedCurve(Boolean, Point3d, Point3d) | Extends the feature line with a curved arc segment defined by three points. This method adds a new fixed arc segment to either the beginning or end of the feature line, creating a smooth curve that passes through the specified second point and ends at the target point. The arc is calculated using the three-point arc definition method, providing precise control over the arc's curvature and direction. This is useful when you need to create arcs with specific geometric constraints. | |
| ExtendWithFixedLine(Boolean, Point3d) | Extends the feature line with a straight line segment to the specified target point. This method adds a new fixed linear segment to either the beginning or end of the feature line, connecting the current start/end point to the specified target point. The extension creates a fixed line segment that becomes part of the feature line's geometry. This is useful for extending feature lines to specific coordinates or connecting to other objects. | |
| ExtendWithFixedLine(Boolean, Double) | Extends the feature line with a straight line segment of specified length. This method adds a new fixed linear segment to either the beginning or end of the feature line, extending in the current direction by the specified distance. The extension direction is determined by the tangent direction at the start or end point. For smoothed feature lines, the extension follows the smoothed curve's tangent direction. | |
| Get3dDistanceAtPoint | Gets the 3d distance at given point along the FeatureLine. | |
| GetBulge | Gets the bulge at the index of feature line's segment. | |
