Parameters

polyfaceIds ObjectIdCollection: An ObjectIdCollection of AutoCAD PolyFaceMesh objects from which the surface point data will be added.
needMaintainEdge Boolean: Specifies whether to define the Autodesk Civil 3D triangle edges based on the edges defined in the original AutoCAD object.
description String: Specifies the description for the point data to be created.

SurfaceOperationAddDrawingObject

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentException	Thrown when the ObjectIdCollection contains objects of types other than Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.PolyFaceMesh.

Remarks

The XYZ coordinates of each object's endpoints are used to define surface point.
