You can create a flow path for a catchment that is based on a polyline.
The uphill end of the polyline is considered to be the hydraulically most distant point and the downhill end is considered to be the discharge point. The elevations defined in the polyline are used to define the flow path slope. If the polyline has no elevation data, you can edit the slope of the flow path from the Catchment Properties dialog box.
A catchment can have only one flow path. If a flow path already exists for the catchment, this command edits the flow path based on the polyline that you select. Any existing flow segment data that exists for the current flow path will be overwritten.
