Copying Metadata to the OS Clipboard

These metadata attributes can be copied to the OS clipboard using options in the Copy Metadata submenu of a clip node:

The information can then be pasted into any location that accepts a text string, inside or outside the application.

Note: The options are not shown when they do not apply. For example, if the selected clip node was generated in the application rather than imported, File Location is not shown.

Shot Name Metadata

The Shot Name metadata assigned to a Clip node is included in setup files created by a sequence publish or a save operation.

The Shot Name metadata assigned to a Clip node can be propagated from/to a Colour Management node using the Paste Special workflow. If an OCIO config with a Context Variable named SHOT is used, the Shot Name metadata is pasted into the SHOT variable value.

Note: The information is not propagated to a Colour Management node using the T+click workflow.

The Dynamic option has been added to the Edit Shot Name window of the Render and Write File nodes.

Rendering

Select Machine Learning in the Resolution Mode drop-down of a Render or Write File node's Resize menu to increase the resolution of a clip using machine learning upscaling models. The resolution of the clip can be doubled, tripled, or quadrupled by choosing the desired factor in the Scaling Presets drop-down. (Rocky Linux only). See Resize & Crop for more details.

When Render on Creation is enabled in the Batch & BFX preferences, a BFX Clip is rendered using the currently selected method (Foreground, Burn, or Background Reactor) upon creation. When this option is disabled, the clip can be rendered using Background Reactor by clicking the button in the Timing view or Timeline tab.

The Hardware Anti-Aliasing and Action Output Precision parameters have been moved from the Batch Prefs menu to the Rendering project preferences.

Widgets Display

Disable Display Widgets During Scrub in the Multiview Layout section of the View menu to hide widgets as you scrub in the timebar.

Note: Keystrokes can be assigned to Toggle Display Widgets During Playback and Toggle Display Widgets During Scrub to toggle the status of these options with a keyboard shortcut.
