Release Notes in Version 2026.0

This topic lists any bugs that have been fixed in version 2026.0 of InfoAsset Mobile.

Create From tool enabled when all map layers are in Groups

Fixed an issue to enable the "Create From" tool to activate when all Map Layers are in Groups.

Microsoft Security Patch

Inquiry into any issues with Microsoft security patches for InfoAsset products. Mainstream support for Windows Server 2019 x64 ended January 2024 (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-server-2019). There are no consequences for InfoAsset Mobile.

Go To Coordinates

The Go To Coordinates (User Coordinates) X and Y fields was not accepting expected values. This was likely caused by the updates to DevExpress and incorrect regular expression to start with. The issue was related to the Tools group sub-menu > Go To Coordinates, the fields for the Longitude or X' and 'Latitude or Y' values did not accept required and expected values. Users had to first enter a minus symbol (-) which then shows "-\", then the first value is shown as entered but followed by a back-slash ("\"), then any values entered thereafter shows as a "d".

Handling Special Text Characters

Issue related to a customer reporting "Error: Index was outside the bounds of the array." To solve this, a better handling of 'special' text characters has been implemented.

Linking local dynamic maps to manhole surveys

A fix has been implemented to ensure that Local Dynamic Maps link to manhole surveys. InfoAsset Mobile users were encountering Manhole Surveys (principally using the 'Partial Manhole Survey' form) not connecting between themselves on the Local Dynamic Map Layer even when the Manhole ID and the Incoming & Outgoing Manhole Refs are all set correctly to relate to one and another.

Uploaded GPS surveys toast notification errors

A fix has been implemented relating to users reporting that creating a GPS Survey in InfoAsset Manager and downloading to InfoAsset Mobile caused a Toast Notification Error.

Deleting forms with saved local reports pending

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error encountered as a result of users deleting a form with outstanding saved local reports. This issue has been prevented by adding a new error message informing that the report cannot be opened because the form has been deleted.
