Import Data from RibX XML Dialog

This dialog is used when importing data from RibX data transfer format files.

RibX is the XML format used in the Netherlands to exchange sewer data between a contractor and contractant.

The dialog is displayed when Import | Import CCTV survey data | Import Data from RibX XML is selected from the Network menu.

Dialog description

Option	Description
Import	Select data to be imported: Browse for the transfer format file (RIBX) to be imported. A standard Open dialog will be displayed. Multiple files may be selected by using the CTRL and SHIFT keys. The flag selected in the Flag for imported fields dropdown will be used to flag fields containing data brought in by the importer.
Generate IDs from	Set option for generating IDs: StartNodeRef, Direction, Date and Time: IDs are generated from the StartNodeRef, Direction fields, and time stamp. StartNodeRef, Direction and an index if needed: IDs are generated from the StartNodeRef and Direction fields, and an index is appended to duplicate IDs to preserve uniqueness. US node ID, Direction, Date and Time: IDs are generated from the upstream node ID, Direction fields, and time stamp. US node ID, Direction and an index if needed for uniqueness: IDs are generated from the upstream node ID and Direction fields, and an index is appended to duplicate IDs to preserve uniqueness. Generated IDs are never longer than 40 characters and uniqueness is always preserved by adding an index number if necessary.
Duplicate IDs	Set an option for importing surveys with duplicate IDs when using the options that incorporate a time stamp: Do not import duplicate survey: surveys with duplicate IDs will not be imported. These surveys will be reported in the import log. Overwrite existing survey: surveys with duplicate IDs will overwrite existing surveys. When using the non-time-stamp ID generation options, surveys with duplicate IDs will be imported with a different suffix. Existing surveys will not be changed.

Select data to be imported:

Do not import duplicate survey: surveys with duplicate IDs will not be imported. These surveys will be reported in the import log.
