This dialog is used
when importing Manhole Survey data from MACP format files.
It is displayed when Import | Import Manhole survey data | Import MACP
manhole survey data is selected from the Network
menu:

Select data to be imported:
- Browse for the data file to be imported. A standard Open dialog will be displayed. Multiple files may be selected by using the CTRL and SHIFT keys.
- The flag selected in the Flag
for imported fields dropdown will be used to flag fields containing
data brought in by the importer.
- Check the Import
images box to include import of
images.

Generate IDs from
|
Set option for generating IDs:
- Generate IDs from: select a method for generating manhole survey IDs. Survey IDs may be generated from:
- Manhole_Number, Date and Time: Manhole Survey IDs are generated from the manhole number, date and time values.
- Manhole_Number, and an index if needed for uniqueness: Manhole Survey IDs are generated from the manhole number. An index is appended to duplicate IDs to preserve uniqueness.
- the InspectionID field.
- any of the custom fields.
- If blank, use InspectionID instead: enabled when generating IDs from custom fields. Check this option to use the Inspection ID if the custom field does not contain a value.

Duplicate IDs

Set an option for importing Manhole Surveys with duplicate IDs:
- Do not import duplicate survey:
surveys with duplicate IDs will not be imported. These surveys will be
reported in the import log.
- Update existing survey:
surveys with duplicate IDs will be updated with the current survey data.

To import manhole survey data, complete the MACP Import dialog and then click Import to import the data.
