What's New in this Version

This topic lists all the additions and improvements incorporated in InfoAsset™ Manager 2026.3 which were not available in previous versions.

Enhanced Encoding Support in ODIC Imports

A new “Assume UTF-8 encoding” option has been added to the ODIC file import workflow. This restores flexibility that had been removed in earlier versions and improves compatibility with international datasets.

• When the option is checked, imported files are treated as UTF-8 encoded.
• When unchecked, encoding defaults to the system locale.

Prior to 2024.4, ICM automatically assumed the system locale encoding. In 2024.4, UTF-8 was enforced for all imports. The 2026.3 release now supports both behaviours, selectable via a simple checkbox.
