To position and constrain rigid routes, you can apply 3D sketch constraints between route points, segments, and included reference geometry. Available 3D sketch constraints include Perpendicular, Parallel, Tangent, Coincident, Collinear, and Fix. They help navigate your tube and pipe system in the appropriate direction and orientation and constrain it to assembly changes.
To place constraints against geometry outside the route sketch, you can first use the Include Geometry command to introduce reference geometry. If certain constraints already exist on the route sketch, you may need to delete the appropriate existing geometric constraints and dimension constraints to continue placing new constraints.

To show constraints for one or multiple route segment or constrained terminal route point, click Route tab
Constrain panel
Show Constraints and select the route geometry. To end, right-click and select Done.Activate the route containing the sketched route point or segment.
Use Show Constraints or Show All Constraints to display constraints on the appropriate route geometry or the entire route.
Right-click the unwanted constraint and select Delete.
