Terminal Properties dialog box
Adds, modifies, and removes properties on selected terminal occurrences.
Access: | With an active harness assembly, right-click a terminal occurrence, and then select Harness Properties. |
Occurrence Tab
Name | The unique name for the terminal occurrence within the assembly. It is also the name used in the browser. |
General tab
Name | Displays the library name of the selected terminal. |
Category | Displays the category in which the terminal is organized, if applicable. |
Part Number | Displays the part number for the selected terminal. |
Thickness | Displays the allowed thickness of the wires inserted into the terminal. |
Range or Fixed | Displays whether a range of values or a fixed value is allowed for the gauge or size of wires inserted into the terminal. |
Min Gauge | When set to Range, displays the minimum gauge for the wires inserted into the selected terminal. |
Max Gauge | Displays the maximum gauge for the wires inserted into the selected terminal. When set to Fixed, only maximum gauge is allowed. |
Min Diameter | Displays the core size as a diameter for the wires inserted into the selected terminal. |
Max Diameter | Displays the maximum core size as a diameter for the wires inserted into the selected terminal. When set to Fixed only maximum core size is allowed. |
Custom tab
Name | Displays the entered property name. Click in the input area to enter a new property, or if available, click the arrow to select from the list. |
Type | Data type for the selected property. Click the arrow to select an appropriate data type from the list. |
Value | Enter a value for the selected property, if appropriate. |
Add | Adds a new property to the list. |
Delete | Removes the selected property from the list. |
